In August 2025, the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) launched a groundbreaking new program — the Family Legal Services Provider (FLSP). This program was designed to expand access to affordable family law support for Ontarians.
Out of more than 11,000 licensed paralegals across the province, only 51 were initially authorized to deliver family legal services. We are proud to be among them.

What is an FLSP?
A Family Legal Services Provider is a licensed paralegal with special authorization from the LSO to handle certain family law matters.
Before this program, many Ontarians had only two options:
- Hire a lawyer — often expensive and out of reach.
- Self-represent — stressful, confusing, and risky.
Now, with the FLSP program, there is a third option:
